The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2025 in Dallas County , while total sales increased by 8.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2025, 11,603 homes were sold in the county, with sale prices averaging $206,100. This is a 0.6% increase over the $204,900 median sale price during the same period in 2024, when there were 10,730 homes sold.

Based on the latest available data from 2020, the median property tax in Dallas County was $5,114, which stands at 2.5% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2025.
