There were 37 multiracial students enrolled in Winfree Academy Charter Schools District in the 2022-23 school year, 14% less than the previous year, according to the Texas Education Agency.

Data showed that Winfree Academy Charter Schools District welcomed 1,153 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, multiracial students comprised 3.2% of the student body to be one of the least represented ethnicities in the district.

Winfree Academy Charter Schools District roughly covers schools within Dallas County and has a main office in Carrollton.

Among the six schools in Winfree Academy Charter Schools District, Winfree Academy North Richland Hills recorded the highest enrollment of multiracial students in the 2022-23 school year, with a total of 12 students.

Education in Texas is often a hot button issue, especially as test scores lag behind other states.

"The problems commonly cited are flaws in the school financing system, relatively low teacher salary, poor test performance by students... dropouts from traditional schools in favor of charter schools... gun violence, and mental health issues," claimed the Texas Almanac.
