First Responder Day at the Baseball Game
During the March 16th, Alvin Yellow Jackets baseball game against the Alief Lions, Alvin first responders were invited to the game and treated with a BBQ lunch. The Alvin High School baseball game was a true tribute to the first responders who dedicate their lives to keeping the community safe. The highlight of the game came when the Fire Chief, EMS Director, and Police Chief stepped onto the field to throw out the first pitch. Before they threw their pitch, the players on the field took a moment to applaud the first responders, recognizing the important role they play in keeping the community safe.
