It’s shaping up to be a dream week in the American Dream City which will welcome fans for the Texas Rangers’ 2023 Opening Series, the Arlington Renegades’ home matchup with the Seattle Sea Dragons, and Taylor Swift’s sold out Eras Tour at AT&T Stadium.

With tens of thousands expected to attend each event, the Arlington Police Department is encouraging visitors to plan ahead for their visit to our city.

Parking Restrictions

No parking zones in neighborhoods near the stadiums will be activated Thursday, March 30 – Sunday, April 2. Any vehicles that attempt to park in these areas, which will be marked by signage, are subject to towing. Click here to view maps of the no parking zones.

Rideshare

For those planning to use rideshare services, the drop-off and pickup location for Globe Life Field is Chapman Cutoff, which is just east of the ballpark off of Stadium Drive near Lot C.

The designated drop-off and pickup location for AT&T Stadium is Lot 15, which is just west of the stadium off of Randol Mill Road.

To help with traffic flow and for everyone’s safety, we kindly ask rideshare users to use those locations for drop-off and pickup. Traffic control measures, including street / lane closures, will be in effect throughout the Entertainment District, so if you attempt to have a rideshare driver meet you at an alternate location, you may experience additional delays in them getting to you.

Please keep in mind that rideshare demand will be extremely high following an event and you will likely experience a wait for a car. You should NEVER accept a ride from a driver who tries to solicit you. You should only get into a marked taxi or vehicle that you have confirmed is being driven by a legitimate rideshare driver.

Additional officers will be posted at Lot 15 to ensure those waiting on a rideshare remain safe.

Taxi Service

Taxi service is available at AT&T Stadium. The taxi drop-off and pickup location is just outside the gate to the West Plaza near the intersection of North Collins Street and Cowboys Way.

Other Recommendations

  •  On the day of your event, give yourself plenty of time to get to Arlington. The closer it gets to game time / showtime, the more congested many of the major thoroughfares into the Entertainment District tend to be. Parking lots open several hours ahead of each event.
  •  Figure out where you want to park ahead of time and drive to that area directly. That way, you’re not spending additional time in traffic and navigating around traffic control measures looking for a lot. Visit the Globe Life Field and AT&T Stadium websites to see available parking lots.
  •  Familiarize yourself with the bag policies at Globe Life Field, AT&T Stadium, and Choctaw Stadium so that you’re not turned away at the entrance gate for trying to bring in a prohibited item.
  •  As you’re walking to and from the stadiums, please use designated crossings. Officers will be stationed at every intersection and crosswalk to help fans safely get across our roadways.
