UT Dallas junior Caleb Vuono was selected as the American Southwest Conference Co-Pitcher of the Week for the second time this season, the league office announced Tuesday.
Vuono, a lefty from Lewisville, Texas, earned a three-inning save in Sunday's 7-2 victory over Sul Ross State to capture the series win for the Comets. He struck out six and allowed just one hit as he shut down the Lobos while entering the seventh with a three-run lead.
