World AIDS Day: Rock the Ribbon

World AIDS Day is recognized on Dec. 1 every year. Since 1988, this international day of observance has been dedicated to raising awareness about AIDS, supporting people living with HIV and mourning those who have died of the disease.

Dallas College is honoring World AIDS Day with events on three campuses. Join us for the free events, sponsored by Health Promotion and Inclusive Excellence.

Tuesday, Nov. 29, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Eastfield Campus - The HIVE3737 Motley Drive, Mesquite, TX 75150

Wednesday, Nov. 30, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

El Centro Campus - Student Center/Main Lobby801 Main St., Dallas, TX 75202

Thursday, Dec. 1, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Richland Campus - El Paso Hall Stage12800 Abrams Road, Dallas, TX 75243

Each event will feature:

  • Free HIV testing provided by UT Southwestern
  • HIV education
  • Resource fair with community resources
