Please join us for a reception as we celebrate Mayor Tammy Dana-Bashian and her immeasurable contributions to the Rowlett community over the past 10 years.
Tammy began her service on the Rowlett City Council in 2013, and subsequently held the role of Deputy Mayor Pro Tem and Mayor Pro Tem. She has been our Mayor since 2017. Among her many contributions, Mayor Dana-Bashian has guided our community through unprecedented weather events and a global pandemic; successfully advocated for Rowlett citizens with the North Texas Municipal Water District to implement more equitable water rates; facilitated a voice for citizens who never felt they had one in our community; and provided strong financial stewardship throughout her tenure.
