City Of Richardson issued the following announcement on Dec. 17.
Richardson’s Parks and Recreation Department staff hosted a special event this week at Heights Recreation Center featuring Santa Claus and some of his friends.
Many people registered to participate in the event.
Santa, along with some of his friends handed out breakfast and greeted many visitors from a safe distance during “Breakfast with Santa To Go.”
“It’s so wonderful to see all these shiny faces, it makes Santa’s Christmas spirit grow and grow, and grow. There are so many nice people on Santa’s Nice List this year in Richardson, and it makes me so happy,“ said Santa.
The breakfast included one donut, juice and a small craft to take home. Participants remained in their vehicles during the drive-thru event.
