GARLAND HIGH SCHOOL: GO Center Is Now Open - Post Graduation and CCMR Helpdesk

Open

Garland High School issued the following announcement on Oct. 21.

What is the GO Center??

The GO Center is a helpdesk designed to help promote post-graduation awareness, including college, career and military options. I strive to help provide students with tools and information needed for post-graduation success.  We have several desktop computers, as well as Chromebooks set up so that students can begin their planning and carry their plans through to completion.  This can include career exploration, job searches, military recruitment options, FAFSA, TASFA, college applications, SAT/ACT/TSI registrations/prep, request transcripts, scholarships and much more!!

Where is the GO Center??

It is located in Room 101.

Who can go to the GO Center?

Any face-to-face student is welcome to sign up to visit the GO Center! However, the majority of students visiting the GO Center will tend to be seniors. (Remote students will be helped virtually, by their counselor)

When can students go to the GO Center??

They can visit https://bit.ly/3m5j4fo or scan the QR code on the attachment.  This will take them to a Google Form that will let Mrs. Adams know what their specific needs are.  She will then call them down and be able to assist them!
