CITY OF SACHSE: 638 Additional Positive Cases Of 2019 Novel Coronavirus In Dallas County

City of Sachse issued the following announcement on Oct. 13.

Today, Dallas County Health and Human Services is reporting 638 additional positive cases of 2019 novel coronavirus (COVID-19) in Dallas County for a cumulative total of 87,381 confirmed cases, including 1,057 confirmed deaths. There are 32 additional probable case to report today for a total of 4,374 probable cases including 13 probable deaths. 

Of the 606 new confirmed cases, 328 came through the Texas Department of State Health Services’ (DSHS) electronic laboratory reporting (ELR) system, and nine are from older months. Please see a provisional breakdown below of these newly reported cases by date of collection:

October - 319

The additional death reported today includes the following: 

- A man in his 50s who was a resident of the City of Dallas. He was critically ill in an area hospital, and had underlying high risk health conditions.
