City of Garland issued the following announcement on Feb. 18.
The Garland Municipal Court will host a Warrant Recall Day from 9 a.m. to noon Friday, Feb. 28.
This special day of amnesty comes just before the 2020 Texas Warrant Roundup begins March 7. If your Municipal Court warrants are not cleared, City of Garland Marshals and police officers may show up at your home or work, arrest you and take you to jail.
You will not be arrested for outstanding Garland warrants if you appear before a judge on Warrant Recall Day.
To take advantage of Warrant Recall Day, come to the second floor of the Garland Municipal Court building, 1791 W. Avenue B, with a valid ID and be prepared to pay your unpaid fines. For more information, contact Lt. Judy Granado with the Garland City Marshal’s office at 972-487-7342.
