Rarely can an event bring together the best of two worlds, but that just what this year’s Fashion Week event aims to do. Costa Rica Fashion Week that is! Thanks to a developing relationship with Universidad Creativa (UCreativa) in Costa Rica, Dallas College students will have the opportunity to take in all the sights and sounds of Costa Rica Fashion Week (CRFW 2022) as part of a watch party at the El Centro Campus and online. This year CRFW will focus on uniting fashion and nature.

Dallas College students can join the official watch party (food will be provided!) for Costa Rica Fashion Week and the UCreativa runway in the El Centro Campus Student Center on Friday, Oct. 28 at 4 pm CT. The event will also be streamed via the following social media channels.

LIVESTREAMING EVENT DETAILS (food will be provided)

El Centro Campus Student Center, 1st floor, Bldg. B
Date:         Friday, Oct. 28
Time:         4-7pm

CRFW is the official fashion week in Costa Rica and will be held from Thursday, Oct. 27 – Saturday, Oct. 29 at la Antigua Aduana, an iconic landmark in the middle of San José, Costa Rica’s capital. The event showcases the works of fashion designers from Costa Rica and abroad and will include UCreativa’s own runway where some of the best collections created by their students will be presented. El Centro Campus students will have the opportunity to showcase their fashion talents in May 2023 at their own runway show and will be streaming it live for UCreativa students to watch.

Dallas College is currently exploring multiple opportunities to partner with UCreativa, including curricular exchange opportunities, student exchange programs, study abroad, etc.
