The results for the Region 10 Spanish Spelling Bee are in
8th grader, Maria Gonzalez of Austin Academy, placed 3rd in the Region! Twelve different districts and charter schools were represented in the 6th-8th grade band!
5th grader, Ariana Martinez Hueda of Herfurth Elementary, placed 4th out of students from 18 districts and charter schools in the 4th-5th grade band! This was her 3rd year competing at the Regional level!
3rd grader, Sophia Aguilera of Northlake Elementary, competed in the 3rd-grade band. Sophia made it to round 2 and received a certificate and a medal! Congratulations to all! YOU ARE #TheGISDEffect
