In March, the median sale price of a home in Dallas County rose by $1,770 from the same period in the previous year, while total sales increased by 5.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

There were 2,013 homes sold in the county in March, with a median sale price of $210,000 — a 0.9% increase over the $208,230 median sale price during the same period of the previous year. In comparison, 1,900 homes were sold in Dallas County in March 2025.

U.S. home prices continued to rise in 2025, with the national median reaching about $447,000 in June. That’s up 1.13% from a year earlier, according to Redfin. The data also show a significant gap in supply and demand, with 36% more sellers than buyers (a difference of 508,715 homes). By Redfin’s definition, a balanced market has seller and buyer numbers within 10% of each other.
