Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, a Republican representative from Texas, has recently shared several announcements and opinions through her social media platform. Her posts cover a range of topics including educational initiatives and political viewpoints.

On June 1, 2025, Congresswoman Van Duyne announced the commencement of a summer reading challenge named “Beth’s Bookworms.” The initiative is aimed at students in grades K-8 to foster engagement and recognize their love for learning. She encouraged participation by providing more information on how to join the challenge “Our summer reading challenge starts today! Beth’s Bookworms is an opportunity for students in grades K-8 to engage and be recognized for their love of learning.”

The following day, on June 2, 2025, she expressed her critical stance on immigration policies under President Biden’s administration. In her tweet, she accused Democrats of supporting mass illegal immigration as part of a strategy to gain electoral advantage “Biden imported terrorists and every Democrat went along with this self-destructive scheme, because they believe mass illegal immigration helps them get elected.”

Later that same day, Congresswoman Van Duyne reminded constituents about the opening of registration for the 2025 Congressional App Challenge. This competition invites middle and high school students to create original apps for a chance to win in the #TX24 challenge. She noted that the deadline for submissions is October 30th “Don’t forget that registration is now open for the 2025 Congressional App Challenge!”
