Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne recently shared her perspectives on various national issues through a series of tweets. The posts, dated June 18 and 19, 2025, cover topics ranging from presidential leadership to border security and local law enforcement operations.
On June 18, Congresswoman Van Duyne expressed her views regarding the current administration’s impact on legislative needs. She stated, “No legislation needed; we just needed a new President.” This tweet suggests her belief that changes in executive leadership can influence policy effectiveness without additional legislative action.
In a subsequent tweet on June 19, she commented on border security measures. She highlighted the results achieved in May with zero illegal immigrants released into the country. Her post read: “THIS IS WHAT A SECURE BORDER LOOKS LIKE: 0 illegals released into the country during the month of May!” She extended gratitude to individuals and organizations such as @RealTomHoman, @Sec_Noem, and @BPUnion for their efforts in securing the border. Additionally, she advocated for passing what she referred to as “One Big Beautiful Bill” to enhance interior enforcement.
Later that day, Congresswoman Van Duyne acknowledged law enforcement efforts in North Texas through Operation Showdown. Her tweet stated: “Thank you to the local and federal agencies that carried out Operation Showdown in Fort Worth to keep our North Texas community safer!” The operation resulted in the arrest of 76 individuals and the seizure of significant quantities of firearms and fentanyl.
Operation Showdown was a coordinated effort involving multiple agencies aimed at addressing criminal activities within Fort Worth and surrounding areas.
