By the end of this presentation, the audience participant should be able to:

  1. Identify common areas of bias that are systematically found in letters of recommendation.
  2. Describe the impact of systematic bias in letters of recommendation.
  3. Develop a practical framework for reducing bias in one’s own letter writing.
