Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne shared updates on her recent meetings and visits with business and agriculture leaders through a series of posts on her social media account. The tweets, published between November 9 and November 10, 2025, detail her engagements with local companies and commentary on current political issues.
On November 9, Van Duyne described a visit to an authentication technology company: “I had the opportunity to tour Authentix in Addison and meet with their leadership team and employees. Authentix is a global leader in authentication technology. During the visit, I learned more about their business lines and their business with the U.S. and foreign governments.”
Later that day, she criticized congressional Democrats in another post: “Washington Democrats continue to inflict harm on the American people because they believe it gives them ‘leverage’ – when will they stop using the American people as pawns?”
On November 10, Van Duyne reported meeting with representatives from a financial institution focused on agriculture: “This week I had the chance to meet with the Farm Credit Bank of Texas. It was great to hear from local leaders in the Texas agriculture economy during their visit to D.C.”
Beth Van Duyne has served as a U.S. Representative since winning her first election in 2020 against Candace Valenzuela by a narrow margin. She retained her seat in subsequent elections, defeating Jan McDowell in 2022 and Sam Eppler in 2024 by wider margins.
