In a post from the afternoon, Van Duyne described a meeting with industry leaders regarding legislation aimed at supporting professional employer organizations. In an evening update addressing federal policy, Van Duyne commented on congressional efforts to change regulations related to energy production. She stated, “This week, we voted to repeal 3 Biden-era rules that were blocking our American energy production. Beth Van Duyne has represented her district through several election cycles. In the most recent contest in 2024, she defeated Sam Eppler with approximately 60% of the vote. In previous elections she won against Jan McDowell in 2022 and Candace Valenzuela in 2020.
