Van Duyne has served in Congress since replacing Kenny Marchant in 2021. She has represented Texas’s 24th District since then and resides in Irving. Born in Ithaca, New York in 1970, she is currently 52 years old. In recent elections she has secured her seat by defeating Sam Eppler in 2024 with over sixty percent of votes; Jan McDowell in 2022; and Candace Valenzuela in a close race in 2020.
