Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’ 24th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on her social media account highlighting community events and greetings for her constituents.
On April 5, 2026, Van Duyne shared an Easter message with her followers: “He is Risen! I hope your Easter Sunday is filled with joy, renewal, and time spent with those you love most.”
The following day, April 6, she encouraged young artists in her district to participate in a local competition: ” Attention young artists in TX-24! Later on April 6, Van Duyne promoted an educational event aimed at students interested in military service academies: “Interested in attending a service academy? Join us on Saturday, April 25 at Carroll ISD’s Performing Arts Center for the 2026 North Texas Service Academies Forum! Students, parents, mentors, and guidance counselors are all encouraged to attend to learn about our nation’s”
Beth Van Duyne has served as the U.S. Representative for Texas’s 24th District since replacing Kenny Marchant in 2021. She was born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and currently resides in Irving. In recent election cycles, Van Duyne has secured her seat by defeating Sam Eppler in the 2024 general election with over 60% of the vote. She also won against Jan McDowell in 2022 and Candace Valenzuela in 2020.
