Van Duyne has represented Texas’s 24th district since winning election in November 2020. She secured reelection in subsequent cycles—defeating Candace Valenzuela in a close race in 2020 by a margin of less than two percentage points; Jan McDowell in the general election of November 2022 with nearly sixty percent of the vote; and Sam Eppler in November 2024 with over sixty percent support.
