Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’s 24th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of updates on her social media accounts between March 31 and April 1, 2026, addressing federal funding priorities, local business visits, and tax relief initiatives.
On March 31, Van Duyne criticized congressional Democrats regarding budget decisions: “Washington Democrats are making their priorities clear. Blocking full funding for the Department of Homeland Security goes directly against what Americans voted for last November.” This statement was made as debates over government spending continued in Washington.
Later that day, she shared details from a visit to a local medical facility: “Had a great tour of Envision Radiology in Southlake, they are an employee-owned company delivering MRI, CT, X-ray, and other imaging services. It was wonderful to meet the team, tour the facility, and learn more about their work.” The post highlighted her engagement with businesses in her district.
On April 1, Van Duyne commented on tax policy: “Largest tax refund season in history, thanks to real relief being delivered through the Working Families Tax Cuts!!!”
Beth Van Duyne has served as representative for Texas’s 24th District since replacing Kenny Marchant in 2021. She won re-election in both 2022 and 2024 by significant margins over Jan McDowell and Sam Eppler respectively. Born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and currently residing in Irving at age 52, Van Duyne has maintained an active presence both online and within her community.
