Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’ 24th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of messages on her official Twitter account between May 25 and May 26, 2026. The tweets addressed Memorial Day commemorations, the remembrance of a local community member, and an election day reminder.
On May 25, 2026, Van Duyne published a message honoring military service members: “On this Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who gave everything in service to our nation. Thank you to every hero who gave their life in service to this great nation. We are forever grateful for their sacrifice. https://t.co/Asu1qdTiI0”.
Later that same day, she reflected on the loss of Ava Moore with another post: “1 year ago today, we lost a bright light in our North Texas community – Ava Moore. Ava was a leader, a patriot, and an exceptional young woman destined for greatness. From the moment we reviewed her application for the U.S. Air Force Academy, it was clear she had the character https://t.co/Ypax8CThUn”.
On May 26, Van Duyne reminded constituents about election day: “Reminder today is election day! Be sure to get out and vote before 7pm. Tarrant County: https://t.co/IRiDSGBPwT Dallas County: https://t.co/fG8gBYJGgF”.
