Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’ 24th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on her official Twitter account regarding legislative initiatives and constituent engagement.

On May 26, Van Duyne expressed gratitude to her colleagues for their support of new legislation, stating, “Thank you @RepLaHood and our Ways and Means colleagues for your support of the Recover COVID Unemployment Fraud in Banks Act!”

Later that day, she encouraged constituents to stay informed about her activities in Washington and across her district by subscribing to her newsletter. She wrote, “Have you signed up for our newsletter yet? Subscribe for weekly updates on the work I am doing in Washington and across #TX24! https://t.co/P54hL4dZit” (May 26).

On May 27, Van Duyne commented on border policy with a post declaring, “12 straight months of ZERO releases at the border!! “

Beth Van Duyne has represented Texas’s 24th District since 2021, succeeding Kenny Marchant. She was born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and currently resides in Irving. In recent election cycles, she secured victories over Sam Eppler in 2024 with 60.3% of the vote, Jan McDowell in 2022 with 59.7%, and Candace Valenzuela in 2020 with a narrow margin.
