Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’s 24th district in the U.S. Congress, recently posted a series of updates on her official social media account covering topics from television appearances to committee work and immigration policy.
On April 7, 2026, Van Duyne invited followers to watch her appearance on Newsmax with Ed Henry, writing: “Tune into @NEWSMAX at 4pm CT as I join my friend, @edhenry, on the Big Take! https://t.co/egRKOQhHi0”.
Later that day, she commented on law enforcement actions in states with sanctuary policies: “Taking out more of the worst of the worst in Sanctuary states that protect criminal aliens. https://t.co/JLN3lbsYwU” (April 7, 2026).
In another post referencing her role on the House Small Business Committee, Van Duyne stated: “On the @HouseSmallBiz Committee, we are committed to slashing burdensome regulations and passing pro-growth legislation to help our nation’s job creators thrive! https://t.co/iChBiXzL87” (April 7, 2026).
Van Duyne has served as a member of Congress since replacing Kenny Marchant in 2021. She was born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and currently resides in Irving. In recent elections for Texas’s 24th district seat, Van Duyne secured victories over Sam Eppler in 2024 with just over sixty percent of the vote; Jan McDowell in 2022 with nearly sixty percent; and Candace Valenzuela in a close race in 2020.
