Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’s 24th congressional district, shared a series of updates on her official Twitter account highlighting community engagement, local support for athletes, and public safety concerns.

On February 9, 2026, Van Duyne expressed gratitude to participants in a new initiative honoring veterans. She wrote: “We have been blown away by your participation in our new Valentine’s for Veterans program! Thank you to schools across #TX24 for participating!! Today is the last day to drop them off at our district office so we can deliver them in time for Valentine’s Day.”

Later that day, she voiced encouragement for Team USA during an athletic event and highlighted a local athlete. In her tweet dated February 9, 2026, Van Duyne stated: “Let’s go @TeamUSA!!! North Texas is cheering extra hard for Coppell’s own Hannah Bilka! “

On February 10, 2026, Van Duyne addressed crime and law enforcement actions in Dallas. She posted: “These three criminal illegal aliens were arrested in Dallas, Texas on homicide charges – truly some of the worst of the worst. Thanks to @ICEgov, they are now off our streets. I will keep fighting for safer communities across North Texas.”

Beth Van Duyne has served as U.S. Representative since winning her seat in the closely contested 2020 election against Candace Valenzuela. She was re-elected in subsequent cycles—defeating Jan McDowell in 2022 with nearly 60% of the vote and Sam Eppler in 2024 with just over 60%, according to official results.
