Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas and recently secured re-election in 2024, posted a series of tweets on August 11 and 12, 2025, highlighting economic growth in Texas and the outcomes of the North Texas Job Fair.
On August 11, Van Duyne stated: “Texas leads the way in the sectors and industries that will drive our nation forward. Thank you to all the businesses and prospective employees who joined us last week for the North Texas Job Fair to keep our state #1 in economic growth for America!”
Later that day, she reported early positive feedback from the event: “We are already starting to hear success stories from our 2025 North Texas Job Fair! The @ArlingtonISD team met with hundreds of strong candidates at the job fair, and even showed off their huge stack of resumes!! This is what it is all about: connecting North Texans with”
On August 12, Van Duyne commented on national leadership: “I do not think that President @realDonaldTrump is getting enough credit for all of the things he is getting done, between trade deals, a massive tax package, and all of the companies that he is bringing back to the United States that have been overseas for far too long.”
Beth Van Duyne has consistently won her congressional seat over recent election cycles. In 2024, she defeated Sam Eppler with over 60% of the vote. She also prevailed against Jan McDowell in 2022 and Candace Valenzuela in a close race in 2020.
