Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’s 24th congressional district, posted a series of messages on her social media account on January 27, 2026, addressing tax policy, Holocaust remembrance, and winter safety for North Texans.

In a post from the early morning of January 27, Van Duyne wrote: “Working Americans will receive bigger refunds this year. Thanks to President Trump and House Republicans delivering the Working Families Tax Cuts, more money is going directly back into your pocket.”

Later that day, she marked International Holocaust Remembrance Day with a message about the importance of remembering history and confronting present-day antisemitism. She stated: “We will never forget the horrors of the Holocaust or the millions of innocent lives lost. Today, and every day, we honor their memory. As we remember, we must also confront the antisemitism we still see today and speak out when it happens. #NeverForget” This message was posted on January 27, which coincides with the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau.

In an evening update on January 27 regarding ongoing winter weather in North Texas, Van Duyne advised constituents to stay safe and offered resources compiled by her office. She wrote: “As we continue to feel the winter weather across North Texas, I hope everyone is continuing to stay warm and safe!! To stay up to date and access helpful resources, please refer to the list our office has compiled:”

Van Duyne has held her seat since first winning election in 2020 against Candace Valenzuela. She subsequently won re-election in both 2022 against Jan McDowell and in 2024 against Sam Eppler.
