Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’s 24th congressional district, recently shared updates on social media regarding tax policy, immigration enforcement, and a local media appearance.
On March 12, 2026, Van Duyne posted about the impact of the Working Families Tax Cuts: “Through the Working Families Tax Cuts, we have committed to putting American families first, a family of four with two children earning up to $73,000 will have no federal income tax liability whatsoever. That’s real relief that can go toward groceries, medical bills, housing,” she wrote.
The following day, March 13, 2026, Van Duyne commented on immigration policy and her experience in local government: “Extremist politicians from sanctuary states and cities seek to undermine our country by protecting criminal aliens, putting Americans at risk. I know, from firsthand experience as a Mayor and City Councilwoman of Irving, coordinating local law enforcement with ICE is INCREDIBLY”.
Later that same day, she highlighted her participation in a Dallas-based media event: “It’s always great to join Will Cain in his Dallas studio!”
Van Duyne has held her seat since winning the 2020 general election against Candace Valenzuela. She was re-elected in subsequent elections—defeating Jan McDowell in 2022 and Sam Eppler in 2024—with vote shares exceeding 59% each time. These electoral victories reflect sustained support for her positions among constituents.
