Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas, recently posted a series of messages on her social media account covering topics from local sports to community charity efforts and national security.

On January 2, 2026, Van Duyne encouraged support for a local university team, stating: “Join me in cheering on our @SMU Mustangs tonight at 7pm CT as they play in the Holiday Bowl! Pony Up!”

The following day, she highlighted a charitable initiative in North Texas. On January 3, 2026, she wrote: “This week’s Hometown Hero is the Giving Machine. The Light the World Giving Machines stopped in three North Texas locations this December and I even had a chance to visit the one in Grapevine. In 2024, they raised over $600,000 to support local and global charities – I can’t wait”

Later that same day, Van Duyne addressed national policy priorities with the statement: “We will secure our borders. We will stop the terrorists. We will crash the cartels. We will defend our citizens against all threats, foreign and domestic.” THIS is what the American people voted for! “

Beth Van Duyne has served as a U.S. Representative since first winning election in 2020. She secured re-election in both 2022 and 2024 by notable margins against Jan McDowell and Sam Eppler respectively.
