Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’s 24th congressional district, recently shared a series of posts on her social media account highlighting national security, public safety, and medical innovation.

On September 3, 2025, Van Duyne reiterated her longstanding position on military intervention against drug cartels. She stated: “For years, I have called for direct military action against terrorist cartels who murder Americans with their poison. I’m enormously gratified we have President @realDonaldTrump and the world’s best military to take the fight to these murderers before they ever reach our” (posted September 3, 2025).

Later that day, she commented on efforts to improve security in Washington D.C., writing: “Truly incredible to see what happens when you have an administration that takes the safety of the capitol city seriously! Thank you @POTUS and @AGPamBondi.” (posted September 3, 2025).

In another post from September 3, Van Duyne described a meeting with Tides Medical. She wrote: “I had the opportunity to meet with Tides Medical, they manufacture tissue-based products for doctors to use in surgical procedures and at physician practices. They are innovating in the space and investing in technology like the first 3D skin substitute printer.” (posted September 3, 2025).

Van Duyne has held her seat since winning a closely contested race in 2020 against Candace Valenzuela. She was re-elected in subsequent cycles by defeating Jan McDowell in 2022 and Sam Eppler in 2024 with increasing margins.
