Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’s 24th congressional district, posted a series of updates on her official Twitter account this week highlighting legislative initiatives and local economic developments.

On July 25, 2025, Van Duyne announced the introduction of new legislation aimed at addressing violent riots. She stated, “This week, I introduced the Stop FUNDERs Act to give law enforcement the tools they need to go after the organizers and funders behind violent, coordinated riots. These are not one-off protests, they are planned attacks carried out by the same extremist networks across our”.

The following day, July 26, she expressed support for ongoing Republican efforts in Congress to promote economic growth. In her words: “Absolutely correct @SecScottBessent! The Republican Congress is passing solutions for growth, opportunity, and prosperity for American workers. Our goal is to deliver higher wages, more advanced manufacturing, and be globally competitive for generations to come.”

Later that day on July 26, Van Duyne highlighted a meeting with defense industry leaders regarding regional investment: “I had the chance to meet with the Chairman of Regulus Global, a defense solutions provider based in Virginia. They are in the process of building their next production facility that will be based right here in North Texas.”

Van Duyne has previously focused on public safety measures and job creation as key components of her platform as a member of Congress representing suburban Dallas-Fort Worth communities.
