Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’ 24th district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted key economic developments and local partnerships in a series of posts on her social media account.
On April 15, Van Duyne recognized American Airlines’ longstanding presence in North Texas, stating, “For over four decades, American Airlines has been headquartered in Fort Worth and has served as a cornerstone of our North Texas economy and community. Thank you for your great partnership with our community and connecting North Texans with the world! Congratulations on 100”.
Addressing small business tax policy on April 16, she wrote, “For too long, small business owners have faced ‘temporary’ tax relief. Not anymore. Through the Working Families Tax Cuts, we made critical provisions permanent, giving job creators the certainty they need to continue to hire, invest, and innovate.”
Later that day, Van Duyne shared an encounter from a recent event: “I had the chance to meet Will yesterday at our @RepublicanStudy Committee Tax Day roundtable. He’s expanded his business to Texas and thanks to the great provisions for small businesses in the Working Families Tax Cuts has gotten a return on his investment.”
Van Duyne has represented Texas’s 24th District since 2021 after succeeding Kenny Marchant. She was born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and currently resides in Irving. In recent elections, she defeated Sam Eppler in 2024 with approximately 60% of the vote; Jan McDowell in 2022 with nearly 60%; and Candace Valenzuela in 2020 by a narrow margin.
