Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne highlighted community engagement and local achievements in a series of posts on X during August 2025. The tweets focused on the recent North Texas Job Fair and recognized a young athlete from her district.
On August 7, Van Duyne thanked attendees of the employment event, stating, “Thank you to everyone who came out to our 4th North Texas Job Fair! It was so great seeing so many job seekers and local businesses connecting. We’d love to hear about your experience — drop a comment below!”
The following day, she commented on the spirit of Texas workers and participation at the job fair: “The Lone Star State is full of hardworking folks who want to pursue the American Dream and find a good-paying job to provide for their families. It was great to see so many North Texans connecting with employers at our North Texas Job Fair yesterday!” (August 8).
Also on August 8, Van Duyne used her platform to spotlight a local youth achievement: “This week’s #TX24 Hometown Hero is Cooper Lutkenhaus, a record-breaking 16-year-old from North Texas who just broke the U18 world record in the 800m and earned a spot on Team USA!”
Beth Van Duyne has represented Texas’s 24th congressional district since first winning election in 2020. She secured reelection in subsequent cycles, defeating Sam Eppler in 2024 with over 60% of the vote, Jan McDowell in 2022 with nearly 60%, and Candace Valenzuela in a close race in 2020.
