Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’s 24th congressional district, shared updates on community events and legislative initiatives in a series of posts between October 31 and November 1, 2025.

On October 31, Van Duyne recognized local law enforcement in her district by posting, “This week’s #TX24 Hometown Heroes are the men and women serving at the @GrapevinePolice Department. They keep our community safe day and night – not only by responding in times of need, but this week they hosted a Trunk or Treat for a night of safe and festive Halloween fun!”

Later that evening, she announced new legislative efforts focused on maternal health and adoption. In her words from an October 31 post: “This week I reintroduced the Caring for Mothers Act of 2025, this life saving legislation not only makes it easier for mothers to choose adoption over abortion, it will also give countless newborns the right to life.”

On November 1, Van Duyne drew attention to content from another official, stating: ” Must watch from @SecRollins “

Beth Van Duyne has held her seat since winning a closely contested election in 2020 against Candace Valenzuela. She was subsequently reelected in both 2022 and 2024 with increasing margins against Jan McDowell and Sam Eppler respectively.
