Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne has announced the release of the Republican Study Committee’s annual budget proposal, highlighting fiscal responsibility and government reform in a series of posts on January 8, 2026.
In her first post, Van Duyne stated, “ICYMI: We released our @RepublicanStudy Committee annual budget proposal. As I shared with @DailySignal ‘It is our fiscal responsibility to not only deliver a balanced budget, but get the federal government out of the way to strengthen the economy so families, small'” (January 8, 2026).
She followed up by sharing an exclusive report on the proposal: “Read the exclusive here: https://t.co/DrhoN3Ebhv @RobertBluey” (January 8, 2026).
Later that day, Van Duyne criticized the Biden administration’s handling of appointments at the Small Business Administration (SBA), writing: “The Biden administration let the Chief Counsel for the SBA Office of Advocacy seat sit empty, never even bothering to nominate someone, instead they hit small businesses with 12,025 new regulations costing trillions. Absolutely unacceptable. Glad to finally have @AdvocacySBA” (January 8, 2026).
Beth Van Duyne has served as a U.S. Representative since her initial election victory in 2020. She won reelection in both 2022 and 2024 by significant margins over Jan McDowell and Sam Eppler respectively.
