Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’ 24th district in the U.S. Congress, posted a series of tweets on May 28, 2026, addressing topics ranging from federal fraud prevention efforts to local educational initiatives.
In a tweet posted at 12:57 a.m. UTC, Van Duyne shared support for the White House Fraud Task Force led by Vice President Vance, stating, “Must watch clip on the work being done by the @WHFraudTF led by @VP Vance – let’s keep going!!!”.
Later that morning at 5:57 a.m. UTC, she commented on perceptions of women in media and public life with the following message, “Interesting take considering there’s literally another woman standing with me in the photo. But thanks for proving some people see women only when they fit the narrative.”.
That afternoon at 5:49 p.m. UTC, Van Duyne announced an educational initiative aimed at students in her district, ” REGISTRATION OPEN Beth’s Bookworms summer reading challenge is back! This program encourages TX-24 students in grades K-8 to keep reading all summer long. Students who complete the challenge will be recognized for their love of learning at a special celebration this fall!”.
Beth Van Duyne has served as U.S. Representative for Texas’s 24th District since replacing Kenny Marchant in 2021 and resides in Irving after being born in Ithaca, New York in 1970. She secured her seat through several recent elections, defeating Sam Eppler in 2024 with over 60% of the vote, Jan McDowell in 2022 with nearly 60%, and Candace Valenzuela in a close race in 2020.
