Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’ 24th district in the U.S. Congress, has recently used her social media platform to highlight legislative priorities and recent policy outcomes.
On March 29, 2026, Van Duyne posted on her Twitter account: “We must pass the SAVE America Act to strengthen the integrity of our federal elections. The majority of Americans agree with just that. Senate Democrats should listen to their constituents and safeguard our U.S. elections and ensure only American citizens are voting.”
The following day, March 30, she wrote: “Six million Americans across the service industry are finally getting real relief. Thanks to No Tax on Tips in the Working Families Tax Cuts, tipped workers will take home $1,300 more on average.”
Later that same day, Van Duyne added: “The average IRS tax refund is up 11% – all thanks to Republicans in Congress passing the Working Families Tax Cuts and being signed into law by President Trump.”
Beth Van Duyne has served as a member of Congress since 2021 after replacing Kenny Marchant as representative for Texas’s 24th District. She was born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and currently resides in Irving. In previous elections, Van Duyne defeated Candace Valenzuela in 2020 by a narrow margin and won re-election against Jan McDowell in 2022 and Sam Eppler in 2024 with larger majorities.
