Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’s 24th congressional district, shared updates on recent legislative developments and tax policy via her social media account on January 15, 2026.

On January 15, Van Duyne posted about bipartisan progress in Congress: “I am thankful for the bipartisan support that helped advance the Ensuring Children Receive Support Act out of the Ways and Means Committee today. We are putting children first by protecting them from the consequences of delinquent child support payments and by supporting working” (January 15, 2026).

Later that day, she highlighted a tax update for families: “ICYMI: A family of four making $73,000 will owe $0.00 in federal taxes this tax season.” (January 15, 2026).

In another post, Van Duyne credited current economic improvements to recent legislative efforts: “Thanks to having an Administration and a Republican-led Congress focusing on pro-growth reforms, like the Working Families Tax Cuts, Americans are finally breaking out of the painful inflation and government control inflicted on us by Biden and the Washington Democrats. @edhenry” (January 15, 2026).

Beth Van Duyne has maintained her seat through several election cycles. In the most recent general election in 2024, she defeated Sam Eppler with approximately 60% of the vote. She also won against Jan McDowell in 2022 and Candace Valenzuela in a close race in 2020.
