Van Duyne has represented Texas’s 24th District since replacing Kenny Marchant in 2021. She was born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and currently resides in Irving. In recent election cycles she secured victories over Sam Eppler in 2024 with over 60% of the vote; Jan McDowell in 2022 with nearly as large a margin; and Candace Valenzuela in a closely contested race in 2020.
