Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’ 24th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on her legislative activities and community engagement through a series of posts on her social media account.
On March 30, 2026, Van Duyne highlighted bipartisan efforts to improve healthcare access for seniors: “Thank you to @BiancaDLGarza for asking me about my new bill, the Outpatient Surgery Access Act of 2026, bipartisan legislation that would allow more seniors easier access to more affordable, high-quality care they deserve.”
The following day, she commented on recent developments at airports and actions by President Trump: “Now that TSA agents are being paid and lines at airports cleared thanks to President Trump’s emergency actions, D.C. Democrats are furious because they can’t inflict pain on the American people while also protecting criminal aliens from deportation. TSA agents are relieved. Air” (March 31, 2026).
Later that same day, Van Duyne described her visit with students in Bedford: “Great visit with students in Bedford! We talked about the legislative process and my journey in public service. I always enjoy spending time with the bright, engaged students here in North Texas.” (March 31, 2026).
Beth Van Duyne has served as the representative for Texas’s 24th District since replacing Kenny Marchant in 2021. She was born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and currently resides in Irving.
