Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas’s 24th congressional district, shared updates on her legislative initiatives and community engagement through a series of posts on November 4, 2025.
In one post from that day, Van Duyne announced the reintroduction of legislation focused on adoption and maternal health. She stated, “I reintroduced the Caring for Mothers Act of 2025, empowering pregnant mothers who choose adoption over abortion. Later that day, Van Duyne expressed appreciation for law enforcement agencies following the prevention of a terror attack. Addressing labor issues at airports during a funding dispute or shutdown situation, Van Duyne commented on the working conditions faced by federal employees. She posted, “Air Traffic Controllers and TSA Agents are working without pay. It is time to stop playing games with the American people. Yesterday, I stopped by DFW to drop off breakfast for the hardworking Air Traffic Controllers who are continuing to work to ensure the safety of everyone” (posted November 4, 2025).
Beth Van Duyne has represented her district since winning a close race in 2020 against Candace Valenzuela. She secured subsequent victories in the following elections: defeating Jan McDowell in 2022 with nearly 60% of the vote and Sam Eppler in 2024 with over 60%, solidifying her position as a Republican incumbent.
