Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents Texas’ 24th district in the U.S. Congress, shared updates on her recent engagements and legislative priorities through a series of posts on April 10, 2026.
On April 10, Van Duyne posted about her visit to Addus HomeCare’s corporate office in North Texas, where she discussed industry issues. Later that day, Van Duyne addressed her legislative focus on regulatory reform and economic opportunity. In an April 10 post she stated, “One of my priorities in Congress has always been getting rid of unnecessary regulations and expanding freedom for Americans so they can achieve financial security and build generational wealth. Van Duyne also recognized the anniversary of a significant diplomatic milestone between the United States and Taiwan. On April 10 she wrote, “Today marks the 47th anniversary of the Taiwan Relations Act, bipartisan legislation that has served as the cornerstone of the U.S.-Taiwan relationship for nearly five decades. To this day, through legislation like the U.S.-Taiwan Expedited Double Tax Relief Act, that we passed”.
Beth Van Duyne began serving in Congress in 2021 after replacing Kenny Marchant. She was born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and currently resides in Irving. Since taking office, Van Duyne has secured multiple electoral victories: defeating Candace Valenzuela in 2020 by a narrow margin; Jan McDowell in 2022; and Sam Eppler most recently in 2024 with over sixty percent of the vote.
