Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, who represents North Texas, recently used her social media platform to highlight legislative actions by House Republicans and share updates on meetings with healthcare leaders.

On September 3, 2025, Van Duyne stated that “House Republicans are lowering premiums for eligible hardworking Americans, and ending the Democrat’s waste, fraud, and abuse that provided subsidies for illegal immigrants.”

Later that day, she posted about a meeting with executives from a regional healthcare provider: “Great to meet with Ashley Donahoe and Kyllan Cody who both are CEOs for Encompass Health in North Texas. During their visit to Washington we discussed the Medicare Advantage program.”

In a post on September 4, 2025, Van Duyne commented on national economic prospects: “America’s future is shining brighter than ever due to the tax cuts being delivered for working families. We are implementing policies to lower costs, raise wages, and create job opportunities here at home. In North Texas we are in a perfect position to lead this new era of”

Van Duyne has held her congressional seat since 2020. She first won election against Candace Valenzuela by a narrow margin before increasing her share of the vote in subsequent elections against Jan McDowell in 2022 and Sam Eppler in 2024.
