Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, representing Texas’ 24th congressional district, posted a series of updates on January 21, 2026, focusing on legislative efforts and recent activities involving House Republicans.

In her first post of the day, Van Duyne invited the public to observe a subcommittee hearing. Her final update of the day addressed concerns regarding government spending oversight. She posted: “Accountability for taxpayer dollars is long overdue. We’re calling for an end to the Biden Administration’s hands-off approach that cost Americans billions. Thank you to Chairman @RepJasonSmith for leading this effort, @WaysandMeansGOP will keep fighting to protect hardworking https://t.co/yatcqN2JI4”.

Beth Van Duyne has represented Texas’ 24th district since winning a close election in 2020 against Candace Valenzuela. She maintained her seat in subsequent elections, defeating Jan McDowell in 2022 and Sam Eppler in 2024 with increasing margins each cycle.
