Later that evening on January 23, 2026, she posted about a diplomatic event: “I had a great time at Holland on the Hill with @NLAmbassadorUSA, Birgitta Tazelaar, celebrating the long-standing partnership between the United States and the Netherlands. Looking forward to welcoming the Netherlands national team to North Texas for the FIFA World Cup this”.

On January 23, 2026, Van Duyne also addressed local concerns regarding severe weather: “As severe winter weather sets in over the coming days across North Texas, our office has put together some resources to help you prepare for what lies ahead. Please stay safe and up to date:”
