Beth Van Duyne has represented Texas’s 24th district since 2021 after succeeding Kenny Marchant. She was born in Ithaca, New York in 1970 and currently resides in Irving. Van Duyne has won several general elections: defeating Sam Eppler in 2024 with over 60% of the vote, Jan McDowell in 2022 with nearly as large a margin, and Candace Valenzuela in a close race in 2020.
Her recent posts continue to focus on criticism of existing federal healthcare policy while promoting alternatives such as the Healthcare Freedom and Fairness Act.
