Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne, a Republican representative from Texas, posted a series of tweets between January 19 and January 20, 2026, commenting on political issues and personal congratulations.

On January 19, Van Duyne criticized Democratic lawmakers regarding the application of legal standards. She wrote, “The hypocrisy is astounding. In 2024, I can’t remember how many times I heard Democrats say, ‘no one is above the law’ as they weaponized the justice system against President Trump – but now Democrats refuse to apply the same standard when it comes to the Clintons… because,”.

The following day, she posted a message referencing her political stance: “365 days of America First. “ (January 20).

Later that day, Van Duyne congratulated Usha and JD on a personal milestone. She stated, “What a blessing!!! Congratulations to Usha and JD on this announcement. Can’t wait to meet your healthy and strong boy.” (January 20).

Van Duyne has served as the U.S. Representative for Texas’s 24th congressional district since winning her first election in 2020. She secured reelection in subsequent cycles, defeating Candace Valenzuela in 2020 by a narrow margin and later prevailing over Jan McDowell in 2022 and Sam Eppler in 2024 with wider leads.
