Congresswoman Beth Van Duyne posted a series of statements on December 18, 2025, highlighting recent legislative actions and policy outcomes she attributes to President Trump and House Republicans.

In a tweet published at 00:18 UTC, Van Duyne wrote, “Because of President Trump’s and House Republicans’ commitment to American energy dominance and increasing American energy production, 38 states now have gas under $3 a gallon – even below $2 a gallon in parts of Texas!”

Later that day at 02:59 UTC, she stated, “President Trump and House Republicans are putting working Americans first — delivering higher wages, lower costs, and more prosperity!!!”

At 03:52 UTC on the same day, Van Duyne referenced legislative efforts related to immigration policy. She said, “House Republicans are taking action to ensure that what happened to Kayla never happens again. Yesterday, we voted to close a dangerous loophole that allowed violent illegal aliens into our country.”

Beth Van Duyne has represented her district through several election cycles. In the most recent 2024 general election, she defeated Sam Eppler with approximately 60% of the vote. She also won previous elections in 2022 against Jan McDowell and in 2020 against Candace Valenzuela.
